Ever just had a REALLY random Sunday afternoon? We did.

Tinsel Triathlon

The morning of Sara's very first Triathlon
started with a brisk thermometer reading
of 37 degrees. We were just thankful that
the ice rain that was predicted didn't hit.

After checking in and getting all set up, the race began at 9am.
Despite the cold, a few people showed up.

There's Sara in the pink hat, taking off for the 5k run portion of the race.

Then to the transition area before hopping on the bike for 12 miles.

And finally, into the pool for the swim
(the best part - well, second to the finish)!

Yay for end of race snacks!

And how, you ask, did I finish my excellent morning? Well, with an excellent breakfast/lunch, of course.

Yup, that's right, Chicken McNuggets...woot!

Happy Anniversary

To Celebrate, we went on a cruise on the Carnival Elation

The cruise was filled with good quality relaxing time, a "Walk for the Cure" on deck (see Ben's "pink" shirt),
Dinner with some new friends, and an interesting towl folding class for Ben.

But the best part of the cruise was getting off the boat in Cabo san Lucas.

The Cruise was December 4th - 8th, so celebrated our actual anniversary on the 9th at Zocalo'
and then came home to have our cake and champage by the fire.

HAPPY 1 YEAR....AND TO MANY MANY MORE!
