Rock Stackin'

I discovered that I really like to stack rocks at the beach.  It's much more improbable looking than making a sand castle or something.  Also, if you want to try it, putting just a few grains of sand on the rocks really helps them to be more stable. I wonder how long they stayed there after we left?

San Diego Botanic Garden

The botanical garden in Encinitas has been on our "date list" for years. Today, we finally crossed it off!
Now, if we could just work on some of the other items like: stealing the couch from the lobby of the Biltmore hotel in Tahoe, mining for diamonds, traveling to Tasmania, and spending the night in a castle.

There are so many lights on that house, you can see the glow from blocks away. This is the view from our bedroom. When it's foggy, the entire sky looks festive!
