Restaurant Week

We found out that Restaurant Week is celebrated every October on Restaurant Row in San Marcos. 
This year is the 31st anniversary - so we decided to help them celebrate by having dinner at Acapulco....and boy did we have dinner!

The dinner included an appetizer....an entree...and a dessert.  For EACH of us.  They were not sized down at all for the special.

Here's a few photos to show you the Dinner (and lunch and  2nd dinner...and dessert....we had for two days).

It all started with the complementary chips and salsa.  We ordered the fancy drinks.

Before long, our appetizers arrived.

Ben had the Mexican Pizza (that serves 4)...

Sara got the Queso with Shrimp dip, and more chips (that also serves 4)

We didn't even get through the appetizers before dinner showed up.

3 To-Go boxes later...yes, there was that much food left....Dessert came.

We asked just to share one, but they insisted that we just take the second one To Go.
