Hell Walk

#WhereisJosh?   That's a good question... I don't see him anymore.
Maybe trying to walk 100 miles straight is a bit much for a desk jockey?  Anyway, the walk must go on, so Sara and I picked up the slack, and answered the call from our hotel room at 2:30am.  "Come on down to Santa Monica and start walking!"  So we did.
Yes, folks.  That's 8.8 miles in a little over 2-1/2 hours in the middle of the night. ... in Venice Beach.  There is a first and last time for everything, and this was both.

Next time you want to go for a quiet stroll by the beach, I would recommend Santa Monica at about 3:30am.  Not bad at all.  Venice Beach on the other hand, was something of an education, and not for the faint of heart.  After many miles, the sun started to come up as we were marching back North.
Maybe next time (Yeah, right!) we'll bring the good camera, so the pictures won't be so grainy.
After-- sweaty, stinky, exhausted, slightly chafed...snarling.

Here's a little more info on Hell Walk 2, and what it supported:
