We acquired this plumeria as a small cutting from a larger tree at the Carlsbad Street fair and optimistically attempted to propagate it..  The fact that it has persisted long enough to actually bloom while under our care, represents a MAJOR step forward in our horticultural abilities and justifies a substantial celebration in our household.  In smaller words, we are happy.  (It could have been just dumb luck, too.)
