Good Morning, Jamaica. How about a coconut for breakfast?
One of the funny things about this resort is that it takes a few days to get used to the schedule of people coming by your room. The morning maid service, the afternoon towel animal, the evening turn-down... Sigh. It's so tiring! (I jest. We've been spoiled.)Today's adventure includes a snorkeling trip at "Island Reef". The kinda cloudy weather muted all the colors a bit, but still...we loved it. And...no one had to tell us how to put on the life preservers, because an airline stewardess tells you how it works at the beginning of every flight. A small note, if you ever do end up floating around for days in one of these things, I'm pretty sure it will take longer to recover from the wedgie than whatever accident separated you from your plane.
I wish swimming in tropical water was something we could do every day...seriously.
Tonight...we dine at Heliconia by the beach....
After dinner we strolled the resort and discovered one of the other restaurants had ice sculptures steaming in the tropical heat. So cool! (Get it?)We ended the day with a dance party on the beach. (Just remember the bug spray, 'cause those sand fleas are vicious!)
Here's some of the stuff we saw while snorkeling...
