Today is "the day it rained"...a lot...but even a rainy day can't spoil paradise.
An early morning dive is a great way to start the day...especially when the water is clear and warm!It wasn't raining when we left, but it sure was when we came back.
While Ben was diving, Sara took in the rainy day sights at the resort. It's amazaing how everyone hides from the rain. nobody out on the patio, the beach was empty, and even the people in the hot tub had umbrellas. (??!?!)
We waited for a break in the clouds and took one of the Hobie Cats out for a spin.
See those dark clouds on the horizon? Sara picked the perfect time to head back in...there was a torrential downpour as soon as we got back.
So we did the natural thing and went swimming...in the rain...with alcohol.
Do you think we should put one of these out on the patio?
A shot dispenser for all our backyard get-togethers?
So, apparently Friday night is lobster night, a cause for much celebration at Couples. All of the restaurants have some type of lobster on the menu. We opted for the grilled lobster at Heliconia. the lobster of course, is just one of the courses... We start with drinks....girly ones, since we're in the tropics...
And then it's on to appetizers, which in this case, is a perfectly toasty little crab cake.
And then comes the salad...
And then the glorious lobster...
Followed by a dessert that was so good, we didn't get a picture of it in time...
