Jamaica 8

Good morning!
Every vacation has a last day.  Ours started in Jamaica...
"Is ok with  you guys if we take this hammock home with us?"
Last morning in paradise.

Our first mode of conveyance was a bus along the Jamaican coast.

We passed fishing villages, high schools, beaches, jungles, factories, and ramshackle shacks.  It's always interesting to see how different "real" Jamaica is from the rum-soaked resorts.

Next, an airplane!
We may have been a little sad about leaving...
That's Cuba, folks!

Our plane fell gently from the sky into Charlotte, like this...  And no, my phone and GPS didn't make the plane crash. Hey, if the pilots can leave their cell phones on, then I can too!
A bigger plane took us on another trip.
And before long, we found ourselves back in San Diego, and it turned out to be Christmas time!  It's like jet lag, culture shock, and holiday shock all at once!
Moms are great.  Especially when they leave us "Welcome Home!" snacks.

This is a file sharing experiment...  Try this link and let me know if you can download the Gpx file for our landing in Charlotte.
